Disney World, Part 2

On Saturday April 27, we celebrated Parker's second birthday at Hollywood Studios.  We were also lucky to have GG and Pops along!  We had a very busy and full day, exploring all of the park. We also got to meet tons of Disney characters, which was really cool, even if the pictures didn't come out great.

Meeting Donald and Daisy...

And Minnie...

And Pluto...

And Goofy!
Someone is 2 today!

Our Jedi in training...

who successfully fought off Darth Maul!

One scary guy!

Letting everyone know he's 2!

Stopped by to say hi to Jake after the Disney Jr. show,

Disney World, Part 1

We decided, that in lieu of throwing Parker a 2nd birthday party, we would instead head to Disney World and take advantage of the spring weather and lighter crowds.  Since we have so many pictures, I'll be updating the blog over the course of several days.

Day 1 we hit the Animal Kingdom.

Passover, and finally spring!

Spring was late to come to the DC area this year.  We celebrated Passover in sweaters and were bundled up until the warmth finally came in April.  But we still had fun!

Early Easter, and saying goodbye

Due to conflicting schedules, Lorraine's family met up in mid-March to celebrate an early Easter.  It was also our chance to say goodbye to Lorraine's childhood home, which was under contract to be sold.  As usual, all the cousins had a blast, and Lorraine got one last chance to pack up some mementos.

The winter that mostly wasn't

We had a relatively mild winter here in DC.  And there were no complaints from the adults.  However, Cooper really wanted to build a snowman.  Hmmm....

And finally....snow!

Parker is not so sure about this white stuff...

But Cooper (and the neighbors) got his snow man!
