Weddings!

Those of you who know us well know that our social lives have long revolved around weddings. This past May proved no different - we went to not 1, but 2 weddings!

The first wedding was for a good work friend of Alex's, Kris(tin) who married Chris. This wedding took place on Harbour Island in the Bahamas. Rather than just go down for the weekend, we decided to make it a week-long vacation, and also celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary. We spent 3 nights on Harbour Island, and then 3 nights on Paradise Island at the Atlantis resort. It was a great break for us, and Lorraine didn't drive Alex too crazy with her midnight milkshake cravings.

Memorial Day weekend we headed up to Portsmouth, NH to celebrate our good college friend (and one of our bridesmaids) Tash's wedding to David. It was a great weekend away - lots of lobster (yum!) and fun!

And don't worry - we still have plenty more weddings to attend!

The 3 preggos!

As it turns out, I'm not the only one pregnant. Two of my good high school friends, Susi and Shilpa, are also pregnant. Susi's due in late August, and Shilpa's due in late September. We got together in NJ for dinner last weekend, and here's a picture of the three of us (plus our husbands). Needless to say, we're thrilled we got to "join the club!"

Alex is a Master!!

Well, we've been up to more than just making a baby this spring. In April, we were thrilled to see Alex graduate from Georgetown with his MBA. Both sets of our parents, Alex's cousins Rita, Jack, and Henri, and our friends Clare and Jim were there at graduation to cheer on our valedictorian. Here's a few pictures from that day.

We're pregnant!!

Well, after almost a year of trying, we're thrilled to announce that we're expecting our first baby right around Christmas!!

Lorraine has made it through the first trimester fairly easily, although she did have her share of food aversions and cravings.

We're looking forward to sharing this journey with you as we get ready to welcome Baby G!!
