Our little Cooper just turned two months, and now weighs a touch under 10 pounds, but is more than 23 inches long - a very long and lean little guy. Here are his 2-month "portraits" -

And another recent development - he's found his fingers, and they are frequently in his mouth!

F is for February, and for Family
Every weekend in February, we've had family visit. The first weekend we had Grandma and Grandpa K in town:
The following weekend Uncle Scott and Aunt Jodi came into town to meet Cooper (and to get a feel for the area before they move here in June):
President's weekend brought Uncle Doug and Aunt Michelle for another visit:
Who are you talking to, Uncle Doug? I want to say hello!
And this weekend, we're celebrating Grandma G's birthday a bit early (pics to come!)

8 weeks!
Well, the time is just flying by here in the Gershman household. We've now met all of the immediate family (pictures with Scott and Jodi will be in a separate entry), and we are slowly getting into a routine.
Here are some more pics from our days and nights -
Staring at the ceiling - it's so interesting

I love bath time (thanks for covering me, Daddy!)

Superbowl!
We had a low-key Superbowl party at our house this year - just us, the Whitakers, and the McWhas, along with some chili and popcorn.
Here's Alex making the chili
Cooper napping on Mommy waiting for the game to start
Watching the game with Daddy in my Superbowl onesie and cap (thanks for getting that in Arizona, Dad!)
Playing with Holden and Jenn
All in all, a low-key way to watch what became an exciting game!

The Grandma K Series - Volume 2
Perhaps with the exception of his animals, there's no one else Cooper loves to chat with than Grandma K. He loves to tell her all about his day, his views on life, oh yeah, of course -- all about his animals.
Hi Grandma!
Am I cute, or what...
Grandma, where has that finger been?
You should see all of my animals... They know how to party...
I love you, Grandma.

Hey - Where Did Daddy Go?
Just a few pictures from the last week... Alex began the week by flying to Phoenix -- and while he stayed at the same hotel as the Patriots, he didn't get the chance to meet Tom Brady... From Phoenix, he headed to San Francisco and Portland, and finally back home on Saturday. Fortunately for Lorraine, her parents came and spent the week -- more from "The Grandma K Series" to come.

Are you related to the animals hanging near my changing table?
My name is Dr. Cooper Doolittle -- I love to talk to the animals!
