Happy New Year!

We awoke to some fresh snow on New Year's Eve, so out the boys went to do some shoveling. Cooper had a blast, and was very helpful!

After we were dug out and dry, we headed to the mall for some fun.
We first rode the car...

And then the train!

Bye bye train!

Then it was off to carousel, where Cooper decided he wanted to ride in "the boat"

And then it was back home for fun with Charlotte!

The next day, we got together with some of Lorraine's childhood friends and now kids. More fun and chaos ensued.

Jumping on the couch

"Sitting" on a chair

Looking mischievous during a juice break

Everyone was taking a bath...

All done!

Now they are riding on boats

And then came the running...

A group shot of Shilpa, Lorraine, and Susi

And an attempt at a shot with the kids

We hope you all have a happy and healthy 2010!

Christmas in NY

After our visit to Florida, it was off to NY for Christmas.

Our attempts at pictures on Christmas Eve

Christmas was chaos, as Cooper and Charlotte together worked through piles of presents while everyone else looked on.

Just what I wanted!

Our first attempt at sharing a toy

Have a bow, Uncle Doug!

More unwrapping...

"Baby" Charlotte and Uncle Alex

Time for a quick lunch break

And now it's time for Thomas

"Auntie Shell" and Charlotte showing off some of her gifts

Time for more fun with bows

Sharing Pop Pop's lap

Enjoying drinks together before bed

After the kids were in bed, the adults finally got to exchange presents (and a few laughs)!

The next day, we ventured out to a carousel

Cooper had a blast, but Charlotte was a bit unsure

We also got to see our friends Dave and Steph, and their son Justin. The boys had a blast!

Evenings in the house often looked like this -
Some "joint" activities,

Followed by storytime,
Followed by PJs and tickling,
And finally, goodbye kisses (at least from Cooper).
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
